The Wild Rovers Racing Team formed in late 2015 by Chris Chromczak and Eamon Dempsey with their inaugural appearance at the 2016 Delmar Dash 5 mile road race. Invite-only members are 30 years of age or older and generally live in the Capital District of New York. We routinely meet for team runs and social gatherings. Focus races range from 5Ks to ultra-marathons, and triathlons. We won two local team races in 2016: the OK5K in July and the Watervliet Arsenal 5K in October. The team suspended team competition during the 2017 racing year to focus on individual races and resumed training for team events in 2018 with the Irish Sweat-er 5K on St. Patrick’s Day where they won in impressive fashion.
